This is my absolute favourite dress! It's made from a soft woolen fabric and it has enough fabric in the skirt to cover my legs properly like a blanket on cold evenings around the bonfire.
It's made to fit into a viking age setting. I should have done the seams by hand but I didn't have the time. This picture is rather bad, but you get the general idea. I will be taking a picture of myself in my full viking attire pretty soon. Just need the weather to be nice so I can get the picture taken outside instead of inside which would kind of ruins the image. Then I'll also post a pattern and explanation on how to make this sort of dress, 'cause it's actually very easy.
